Synopsis
August’s Staff Pick Series: Hackers, presented by Joseph! Every month, we showcase our hardworking Bear Tooth team’s favorite films. “ I’m Joseph, Alaskan born and raised, with equal love for the great outdoors as a good movie. My job at Bear Tooth is all about making sure everyone has a phenomenal experience. I picked Hackers because it’s a brilliant mix of quirky characters, endless 90’s tech possibility, a killer soundtrack, and Angelina Jolie. At its core, it’s a wild adventure proving that friendship matters and together you can take on something huge, beautiful, and right. ” Along with his new friends, a teenager who was arrested by the US Secret Service and banned from using a computer for writing a computer virus discovers a plot by a nefarious hacker, but they must use their computer skills to find the evidence while being pursued by the Secret Service and the evil computer genius behind the virus.
