The Bear Tooth opened its doors in 1997 with a simple idea: people deserve a real meal, a real beer, and a real movie — all in the same room.

What started as Anchorage's first dine-in theater grew into one of Alaska's most active live music venues. We host hundreds of nights a year — touring acts, indie films, festivals, fundraisers, storytelling, and the kind of community gatherings that only happen here.

We're proudly part of Spenard. We source locally where we can, brew next door, and treat every guest like a neighbor. Because most of them are.
