Synopsis
Welcome to our Staff Picks Series! A new monthly event where we showcase favorite films handpicked by our hardworking Bear Tooth staff. First off we have Heat presented by Alice, one of our projectionists! “Hello, my name is Alice! I started as a busser before being promoted to expo, then projectionist. My movie pick is Michael Mann’s ‘Heat’. I like this movie because Deniro and Pacino have some of the most interesting chemistry I’ve seen between two old men.” Obsessive master thief Neil McCauley leads a top-notch crew on various daring heists throughout Los Angeles while determined detective Vincent Hanna pursues him without rest. Each man recognizes and respects the ability and the dedication of the other even though they are aware their cat-and-mouse game may end in violence.
